Day One
Welcome to Myrtle Beach
We arrive in Myrtle Beach today and check into our hotel on the waterfront. We’ll have time to relax or stroll on the beach before enjoying a Country Buffet Dinner this evening. (Dinner)
Day Two
Broadway at the Beach
After breakfast, we depart for Broadway at the Beach, a unique shopping experience set on 350 acres with unique offerings like the Hard Rock Cafe, IMAX Discovery Theater, Planet Hollywood, Ripley’s Aquarium, 16 restaurants and more than 100 specialty shops all nestled around a 23-acre man-made lake. In the afternoon, enjoy the beach or the pool at our oceanfront hotel. Tonight dinner is included once again at Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood Buffet. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day Three
Charleston
This morning we depart for a tour of historic Charleston. A port city steeped in romantic history, it has barely changed since its founding in 1670. We will also visit Boone Hall Plantation, one of the most scenic entrances in the South with ancient live oaks leading the way for 3/4 mile. It was here that the North and South mini-series was filmed. This evening, good cuisine and entertainment awaits us at the exciting Dixie Stampede Dinner Show. It’s a horse-racing, whip-cracking, wagon-bustin’ good time, featuring a fabulous four course feast, coupled with lots of fun and excitement! (Breakfast, Dinner & Show)
Day Four
Intercoastal Cruise
This morning we drive to Barefoot Landing, and board the "Southern Star," the only true paddlewheel boat in the state of South Carolina. We’ll get our boxed lunch and cruise along the intercoastal waterway. Take in the fresh air and scout the riverbanks for wildlife we may see along the way. Afterward, we have time to explore the many unique shops. This evening we’ll have Dinner before we go on to the Alabama Theater for a wonderful show, a blend of Broadway and Nashville, a fitting way to finalize our adventure in Myrtle Beach! (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day Five
Depart for Home
We depart for home today, taking with us fond memories of our South Carolina travels. (Breakfast)
